Worship is open to all ages and begins at 9:30am. The nursery is available for children birth through age 4.
Our teachings are Bible-based, Christ-centered, and grace-filled, not legalistic.
Our worship atmosphere is informal but reverent with contemporary music that is uplifting and inspiring while inviting the participation of all generations. With our instruments and the voices of the redeemed, we seek to passionately articulate our worship and communicate the timeless message of Christ and His love.
We also recognize that our worship on Sundays is only a part of the Worship to which we are called. Our Worship continues throughout our daily lives even after we leave the time on Sunday we call “worship” (Romans 12:1). Further, we understand that our Worship cannot be separated from loving others through outreach. We are called to love the Lord our God and love our neighbor with one hand raised up to God in praise and the other hand reaching out to the world in service (Matthew 22:36-40) (Mark 12:28-31) (Luke 10:27).
Sunday School classes are available for ages 3 and up and begins at 10:45am. The nursery is available for children younger than 3.
Children, Pre-K – Grade 5, study God’s Word and how it applies to their lives through age appropriate activities. They are encouraged to memorize scripture and are rewarded for their efforts.
Our middle school and high school Sunday school classes cover a variety of topics and formats applying biblical principles. Class participants encourage one another to be accountable in their Christian walk and work together on missions and serving in the church.
The adult Sunday school classes explore a variety of subjects through a biblical perspective. Classes include a time of study, discussion, prayer, and fellowship.
We welcome the littlest lambs into our care during Christ Community’s morning services and other select functions. Our purpose is to provide a safe, loving, fun, and comfortable environment for both you and your child. Our workers are here to walk, rock, read, feed, and play with your children to ensure they are content.
The nursery is made up of volunteers from our church family, along with one paid caregiver who is in the nursery every week. We believe that having one caregiver who is present each week provides continuity of care for your child.
If you would like to volunteer in our nursery on a rotating basis or if you would like more information about our Nursery, please contact Priscilla Holtzhauser.
Our team of Worship Servants are the people who make Sunday morning services work. Some roles are behind the scenes and others are up front, all are important. If you are interested in serving as a Worship Servant please contact the church office.
On Sunday evenings we have Sunday School and Worship services in Spanish. Sunday School begins at 4pm, and Worship begins at 5:15pm. These services, and our other Spanish Ministries, are led by our Associate Pastor Javier Montanez and his wife, Persida Ramos. They aim to provide a church environment where our Spanish-speaking neighbors will feel welcome to seek and experience God’s love.
